Our buildings are manufactured in-house at our site in Murray Bridge, South Australia then delivered to your chosen location – Australia wide!
Our Delivery Practices
At Modify, our priority is to ensure your buildings are delivered safely, following the best industry practices. To achieve this:
- Our Portable Buildings are manufactured on a heavy duty, steel chassis with specifically designed lifting points.
- A specifically designed lifting cradle and straps are used to ensure no damage can be caused to your building during the delivery process.
- We make sure the right transportation truck and crane is selected for the job based on the size, weight, and length of your Portable Building.
- Only the most experienced Truck Drivers and Crane Operators handle our Portable Buildings.
- All Portable Buildings are correctly packed and prepared for delivery at our site, prior to delivery.
Delivery & Installation Costs
As our buildings are delivered Australia wide delivery costs will vary. Before we give you any pricing on delivery or take any bookings, the following factors are considered:
1. The distance from our factory to your site location: All Portable Buildings are transported on a specialised truck. Part of the delivery costing is calculated by the number of kilometres from our factory to your site location, including stoppage time required for loading and unloading.
2. The size of your Portable Building (length, width, weight, and height): The size, length, weight, width and height of your building will determine the type and size of the transport delivery truck and crane that we will require to load and unload your Portable Building.
3. Access at your site: Where your Portable Building will be placed on your site and whether there is enough access for a truck to drive in. Otherwise, a larger crane will be required to lift the building from a distance. We will discuss site access with you and may organise a site visit if necessary.
4. Hiring professional transport and crane companies: Only professional transport and crane companies are used, who have the right vehicles, equipment and experience in the transportation and craning of Portable Buildings.
5. FREE Transit Insurance: Transit insurance is included FREE on all Portable Buildings when we arrange your transport with our chosen carriers. This covers accidental damage caused during transit from our factory to your site location.

How much is delivery?
We deliver Australia wide, so delivery is different for each client based on several factors such as distance from our location in Murray Bridge, size of building etc.

Will I need council approval?
One of our friendly team can assist you in determining whether your Granny Flat, Transportable Home or Portable Building will require Council Approval.
As part of the services we provide, we can assist you to successfully submit the correct information in your Development Application (DA) or take the hassle out and complete the process on your behalf.
What does the building sit on?
As a minimum, our buildings require 100mm of compacted road dirt to be placed on. Upon delivery the transport team will supply, lay and laser level blocks for your building to go onto and you have the option of adding on tie-downs to anchor your building. There is also the option to place your building on to steel piers if you would prefer.
Can I make changes to the floor plan?
